| Now after a week of being told that NZ was
going to have lashings of wind and rain, a few hardy soles
traveled to Hawera for a fun fly. Saturday Dawned fine with
great views of the Mountain and lots of flying was had by
all. Wayne flew his Rappy which was recently repaired from
a bad crash. Ernie's was getting adventurous and flying way
higher than I have seen before. Saturday Night we had the
usual meal at Morrisons and a couple of persons taking home
a doggy bag.
Sunday however had a few showers and during the wettest part
we flew TRex's in the Hanger with spot landings on all manner
of things. Wayne even landed/balanced one skid on his camera
case. In an effort to push it over he crashed the TRex. This
was the only incident of the weekend.
