| The day started great and then I headed of
to Auckland where it preceeded to rain and rain it did. Arriving
at the field I noted that there were a large number of flyers
present. In between the rain we had both the 3d challenge
and the fun fly challenge. The fun fly challenge included
precission landing as many times as possibe between two circles,
Knocking over bottles and a take off and landing section.
The results for this competition were
Winner of the funfly event was Wayne Ratcliffe
Most bottles knocked over was won by Grant Clark
Rings around the square was won by Wayne Ratcliffe
Precision landing was won by Jeremy Madley
The following is the results for the 3d Challenge.
First: - Steve Engle (Auckland) 399 points
2nd place Wayne Ratcliffe (Rotorua) 392.25 points
3rd place Chris Neves (Auckland) 299 points
4th place Jeremy Madley (Hamilton) 136.5 points.
After all the flying we had the mystry draw for the 3d flyers
and then the raffle draw for the rest and I won the Caliber
400 electric Helicopter. Awesome - Thanks Leisuretime Developments
